Booting Issue with FreeBSD9/10?

Hello All!
First, let me say what a great project! I've had my own homebrew pxe servers before, but ERPXE really takes the cake, it's the complete package! I'm currently using it in a lab environment to install different distributions on kvm virtual machines. I do have one slight issue, though. One thing I like to do is to keep the network book as an option in case the owner of the vm wants to boot into ERPXE and perform some operations, if not, it times out in 20 seconds and boots from the drive. The problem I'm having is with FreeBSD 9 or 10, unless I go into the menu and use "Select Boot Device" --> "Boot MBR on 1st HD!", FreeBSD doesn't want to automatically boot. If I boot the kvm guest from the hd it works fine.
Has anyone else seen this behavior? I'm thinking it may be in the seabios files or I see ERPXE uses memdisk, I've even upgraded to the most recent version of memdisk... I just want to make the FreeBSD guests boot similiarly to how all of the Linux ones do.
