Evening all,
Having some problems getting erpxe v 1.2 and fog .32 plugin working.
After following all the steps, fog will not image a host. It boots and loads, but just never registers the host. It will sit there and ....
I can also not upload a new kernel in fog.
We noticed in /var/www/html/fog/commons/ it lists a tftp directory that does not exist (tftpboot/fog/kernel)
This is on fresh installs of ubuntu server 14. Erpxe installed first, then fog using the standard fog instructions.
I've tried a few times.
Thanks very much for help in advance.
erpxe and fog issue unable to register host
Re: erpxe and fog issue unable to register host
First try to install fog on a clean /tftpboot, then check if your fog setup functions correctly.
If the issue is still there then it is a FOG issue, otherwise the integration of FOG with ERPXE is faulty.

Re: erpxe and fog issue unable to register host
Yes I have tried that without issue. I have a standalone fog server working.
Was hoping to have one working in erpxe and retire the old one.
Is there a certain version of the fog plugin that works with the newest erpxe?
Thanks

If you have successfully installed FOG you should backup /tftpboot to /tftpboot.fog.src
unpack the ERPXE package to a clean /tftpboot
copy the kernel files from /tftpboot.fog.src to /tftpboot/er/plugins/fog/kernel
copy the image files from /tftpboot.fog.src to /tftpboot/er/plugins/fog/images
Keep our menu files but I would suggest comparing them to the new ones created by FOG and verify the APPEND line.
