Re: TFTP not downloading
Could you post what errors you are getting exactly? It helps others identify the issue you are having. Without knowing the errors it is difficult to help resolve your issue. TFTP errors can be caused by a number of things.

Re: Raspberry Pi (PXEPI)
Just to update, I'm currently on rev 2.0 of my project and have upgraded with a more robust 5v powersupply from Jameco Electronics. I've also learned that the SD card extension for the raspberry pi (in my case anyway) was a complete waste of time and money. Not only did I find it unstable with the R...

Re: Help with ERPXE install on Raspberry Pi
Thanks! felt great to see my work show up on the wiki. That said I have a couple of corrections. I didn't realize this but the rpcbind service doesn't automatically start on the rpi. update-rc.d rpcbind enable must be used to start this. The first code segment below ERPXE header has Install a TFTP S...

Re: Help with ERPXE install on Raspberry Pi
a couple more things I found after testing my new install.
rpcbind is required for nfs to work. samba-common-bin is required to set passwords and add users to samba shares. I updated the instructions to reflect that.

Re: Help with ERPXE install on Raspberry Pi
well I got my sdcard extension cable and it doesn't work. The cable itself passes the read/write tests but for some reason, I'm guessing having to do with the low power of the pi, it will not work with the pi. At any rate I went ahead and ran thru the install again and updated my instructions. I use...

Re: Raspberry Pi (PXEPI)
I've been steadily making improvements, adding new things here or there. Here are some highlights. Re: Help with ERPXE install on Raspberry Pi
I take that back, I'm in the middle of a redesign on the case and adding some new hardware features. Since I have to dismantle my system to swap SD cards to do this I'm going to hold off until I'm ready to reconfigure the hardware. Please let me know if you encounter any more problems so I can try t...

Re: Help with ERPXE install on Raspberry Pi
Ok two problems, first no that's not normal. dpkg should not return an error installing tftpd-hpa. However, the runlevel warning is just that, a warning and can be ignored. You can manually edit the init file to reflect the proper run level args to get rid of that error but I don't have the brain po...

Re: Help with ERPXE install on Raspberry Pi
You know I was just thinking and I bet your problem was (at least initially) inadvertently installing tftp-hpa instead of tftpd-hpa. I did that at one point and spent almost 2 days trying to figure it out before I realized it.

Re: Errors on instruction pages
Awesome sauce.
Glad to help you guys out.
Some of the RPi instruction may need cleaning up, let me know if you have any questions.
